We are very successful in promoting top winning photographs far and wide, providing great exposure to winning photographers. Examples from past years include: a traveling photo exhibit displayed at several businesses in Portland and Eugene, the state Capitol, the Corvallis Public Library and local restaurants. Several of the winning photos also appeared on TV, in statewide media including Oregon Public Broadcasting, Eugene Weekly, the Eugene Register-Guard, in blogs and magazines, and more.
We will accept one contest entry per person of a bee photo showing how you interpret, “Summer of Bee Love.” DEADLINE: Thursday, August 6th at Noon
Winners* will be chosen by a panel of judges that include professional photographers, video producers and Beyond Toxics staff.
Tallies by judges will be based on 7 aesthetic criteria, including quality of the image and originality.

GloryBee is proud to support and promote Beyond Toxics’ 8th Annual Beauty of the Bee Photo Contest! Honey bees are our favorite pollinators, of course, but we love them all. And everything we do to help one bee, helps the others. Like decreasing pesticide use and creating more habitat with diverse floral resources. We started our SAVE the BEE Initiative to increase awareness of the plight of honey bees, and SAVE the BEE has been a consistent supporter of Beyond Toxics’ work to protect all of Oregon’s bees.
