If you’ve been following our work on behalf of pollinator health, you know that concern for the survival of all pollinators (including bees) is a critical part of the fight for the integrity of environmental biodiversity and food justice.

Images inspire others to get involved and care! YOU can help save bees by capturing their special beauty. Send us your favorite original photo of bees in any setting, whether in the wild or in your own back yard. We will accept one photo entry per person. Bee creative!

We will display the photo entries on our Facebook group page so you can follow the contest entries and VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITES!

A limited edition t-shirt of your size choice may be substituted for winners who are too young to accept wine for 1st and second prizes.

Prior photo entries have helped Beyond Toxics make the case for changing laws and policies, such as the ban on neonics in Eugene, Portland and Milwaukie, Oregon.

Another reason to submit your bee photos
We are very successful in promoting top winning photographs far and wide, providing great exposure to winning photographers. Examples from past years include: a traveling photo exhibit displayed at several businesses in Portland and Eugene, the state Capitol, the Corvallis Public Library and local restaurants. Several of the winning photos also appeared on TV, in statewide media including Oregon Public Broadcasting, Eugene Weekly, the Eugene Register-Guard, in blogs and magazines, and more.
