Calling all photographers! It's spring, flowers are in bloom, and bees are buzzing. That means it's time for our annual Beauty of the Bee photo contest. Come show us your best bee photos!

Annie Mims Garden Work Parties and Conversation Circles
Join Beyond Toxics' Eric Richardson for weekly conversation circles and work parties at the Annie Mims Garden Collaborative. We'll come together each week to get outside and build community.
Beyond Toxics is partnered with Nurturely, Square One Villages, NAACP, and Upper Willamette Soil and Water conservation District.
Who: All are welcome!
When: Weekly Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. Work parties are 5 to 6 p.m., followed by facilitated conversation circles from 6 to 7 p.m.

Memorial Day BBQ
Celebrate the Black contribution to our national character and the beginnings of the first Memorial Day in South Carolina in 1865. Join Beyond Toxics and community partners for this free gathering in celebration of past sacrifices for the collective good!
We'll have partner tabling, live music, free garden starts, free BBQ, free kids books, food box delivery sign-ups, and an open mic for community comments!

Oregon Health Authority SoilSHOP at We Are Bethel Celebration
Concerned about lead exposure? Bring your soil sample, toys, spices, or pottery to the Oregon Health Authority table at the We Are Bethel Celebration!
Soil Screening, Health, Outreach, and Partnership (soilSHOP) events provide community members with free lead screening for toys, spices, pottery, and soil gathered from their gardens or outdoor play area(s). Participants receive screening results on the same day. Health educators provide one-on-one consultation with participants about their individual results. Through soilSHOP, OHA provides health education and outreach to help people learn if their soil or household items may be contaminated and how to reduce exposures.
