Beyond Toxics challenges environmental pollution by taking on its root causes – environmental racism and injustice – and activating and organizing the people who are most affected by pollution and harm.

Our organization was founded in 2000 as a diverse coalition of working class, rural and industrialized communities seeking to end a pattern of exposure to pollution.

We do this work side-by-side with the frontline communities that suffer the brunt of environmental harm.
